Proclamation Signing in Stephenville

Bay St. George Coalition to End Violence, with support from Newfoundland Aboriginal Women’s Network, joined at the Stephenville Town office on January 27, 2011. Stephenville Mayor Tom O’Brien and Aboriginal Elder Phyllis Cooper signed the Proclamation to kick off Violence Prevention Month, which will be celebrated throughout the month of February.
Communities in Schools, supported by Bay St. George Coalition to End Violence, will be organizing many activities that will take place throughout Southwestern Newfoundland during February.
