Our Business World at St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary

Students in Mr. Ball’s Grade 6 class at St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School participated in a four week Junior Achievement program recently called Our Business World.  The program was offered through a partnership with Communities In Schools (CIS) and the Community Youth Network (CYN).  Gerri Davison and Tracy Snow were involved with delivering the program.  The purpose of Our Business World is to provide practical information to students about the organization and operation of a business.  There were four one hour sessions delivered on the topics of Organization, Management, Production and Marketing.  The final session was completed on April 18th.  It was a pleasure to work in Mr. Ball’s class.  His students were very eager to learn and a pleasure to teach!  A special thank you to St. Thomas Aquinas Elementary School, Mr. Ball and our partners at Junior Achievement for their support!
