Pink Day at St. Michael’s Elementary

St. Michael’s Elementary, Stephenville Crossing, has celebrated “Pink Day” in support of “Stand Up To Bullying”. The students took part in a week of events, contests, RESPECT acrostic poems, posted pledge sheets, wore clothes backwards in support-“Don’t turn your back to violence” and presenters from the John Howard Society, SACS, Women’s Center, NFLD Aboriginal Women’s Network and Victim Services participated and gave professional presentations.
