Communities In Schools (CIS) Supports Kids Help Phone

Vanessa Lee, Communities In Schools Regional Coordinator, BSG organized the first “Walk for Kids Help Phone” in Stephenville on Sunday May 1st.  22 individuals gathered at the beginning of Main street and walked to the College of the North Atlantic, raising a total of $805 for Kids Help Phone of Newfoundland and Labrador.   In 2010, we estimated over 11,000 direct contacts (phone calls and online posts) from close to 150 Newfoundland and Labrador communities.
