CBC Pancake Breakfast a Success!
Braving the cold blustery conditions on Tuesday, February 12th, over 200 individuals came out to support the CBC Pancake Breakfast for Homelessness held at the Stephenville Lion’s Club. Through a partnership of the Community Education Network, Lion’s and Lionesses Clubs, and the Southwestern Newfoundland Housing Stability Initiative (HSI), this is the third year the event has been held in Stephenville as part of the province -wide event. Funds raised stay in the community to help support local initiatives, and a large variety of donations were accepted for Stephenville Emergency Food Services.
