Community Café Celebrates Summer!!

As children start back to school and the air cools, we would like to take a few moments to remember our sunny summer Community Cafés.  The aroma of barbequed hotdogs and hamburgers tantalized the taste buds of all those who came to the Lion’s Club to participate in July and August’s café.  Salads and ice cream for dessert complimented the meal.

Thank you to the Lion’s Club and St. Augustine’s Church for sponsoring these cafés, respectively.  As with all cafés, success is evident with the continuing dedication of great volunteers and participants.   Special thanks to our entertainers who delighted us with their musical talent, Lloyd Swyers, Jordan Sheppard and Amy Erickson.

We hope everyone will join us again this fall and throughout the winter as we continue to make new friends, enjoy local talent and beat the weather with a bowl of hot soup, sandwiches and delicious desserts.  See you all soon!
