MMM MMM! Pancakes! Community Pancake Breakfast for Homelessness

The Housing Stability Initiative, in partnership with the Stephenville Lion’s Club, will be hosting their annual Community Pancake Breakfast for Homelessness on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. For the early birds, volunteers will begin serving breakfast at 7 am and run until 1 pm at the local Lion’s Den.

For just $5 adult and $3 child, one will receive a yummy old fashioned Newfoundland breakfast consisting of eggs, sausages, toast, baked beans and of course, pancakes.  Hot and cold beverages will be available as well.

All proceeds raised from this event will be distributed to local organizations who deal with this issue on a daily basis so that they may continue to improve the lives of those who are inflicted with housing instability and homelessness.

At HSI we believe in rewarding all good deeds, therefore anyone who brings in a food item for our local Emergency Food Bank will be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of two $30.00 Coop gift cards.  Monetary donations will also be accepted during the event or can be dropped off to the Community Education Network located in the L.S. Eddy Complex on Gallant St.
