Feeling empowered with Red Cross First Aid
A new batch of trained First Aiders received their certificates with flying colors on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Eleven participants comprised of Power Up! participants, Linkages youth, CYN Regional Coordinators and community individuals gathered for two days of jam-packed information and instructional videos all complimented with hands-on practice.

r, for the fun and interactive days of learning. When it came to knowledge evaluation time (otherwise known as a test) anxieties grew for not…as everyone passed with ease. All agreed to feeling more empowered. For some this was their first-time 
certificate, for others their re-certification.
Knowing what to do and how to react in an emergency medical situation is assurance enough for personal fulfillment, but it is a bonus for those seeking employment.
