CEN credited for support of Aunt Jean’s Place in provincial publication
Community Education Network believes in networking and offering support to our community. So, when Rev. Kathryn Vance vocalized her idea of turning her newly purchased home into an emergency/transitional housing unit, she received the help of CEN. Offering assistance in many facets, by, (at the time) Executive Director, Sharon Park and Housing Support Worker John Finn.
Today, many years later, Aunt Jean’s Place is still supported by CEN, under the guidance of Executive Director, Bernice Hancock and Housing Support Worker Michelle Power.
This month, in Newfoundland’s own publication, Downhome Magazine, Rev. Vance was featured for her active role in improving our community with the help of CEN and many others.
