PROGRAM FACILITATOR
TRANSITIONS TO WORK PROGRAM
The Community Education Network in partnership with the Department of Advanced Education Skills and Labour is presently seeking a Program Facilitator for the Transitions to Work Pilot Program. The program will provide personal skills development, employment readiness skills training and a supported job search for up to 20 individuals between the ages of 19 and 45 years who are unemployed and non EI eligible to assist them in accessing entry level employment. The program will be participant focused and will include group activities as well as individual assessment and support.
CEN is seeking an experienced adult educator for the position of Program Facilitator. As a member of the Transitions to Work Team, the Program Facilitator will
- assist with recruitment and screening of participants;
- plan and facilitate group activities and workshops based on identified needs;
- conduct individual assessments and provide ongoing case management;
- assist participants in identifying and achieving career and employment goals;
- provide ongoing feedback and support;
- assist with a two-week coached job search; maintain participant files and complete reports as required
- A degree in Education is required supplemented by a minimum of three years related work experience. Use of a vehicle is required for work-related travel.
The position will run from January 8 to March 30, 2018. Program participants will be engaged for a nine-week period from January 22nd to March 23rd, 2018.
