Linkages

In keeping with CYN’s provincial mandate of providing youth with the opportunity to obtain career/work information, CEN & Associates have partnered with the Dept of Advanced Education, Skills & Labour to deliver the Linkages Program. An employment program designed to help youth pursue their career and employment goals. Participants of Linkages will benefit from a job placement and career and employment support sessions.

Youth participants will have access up to 26 weeks of career-related employment with a private or non-profitt employer. Through regularly scheduled career and employment planning sessions they will receive help with establishing and pursuing career and employment goals.

To be eligible, youth must:

  • be 18-30 years of age
  • have a minimum completion of Level 11 high school and have been out of school for at least 6 months
  • have not completed post-secondary education/ training
  • can demonstrate difficulty entering the labour force or possess limited work experience
