Adult Basic Education Instructor – Level 1

The Community Education Network is a community-based agency with a lifelong learning mandate. We are presently seeking an energetic, dynamic classroom instructor to deliver ABE Level 1 for up to 12 adult learners. The successful candidate must have teaching experience and a demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with course work and experience in adult education
- NL Teaching Certificate
- Minimum of five years teaching experience
- Experience working with adults with learning challenges
- Ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good Computer Skills
Contractual Position from September 10, 2018 to June 14, 2019
Location: L. S. Eddy Memorial Complex, Stephenville
Salary: $26.50 per hour for 35 hours per week.
