Summer Career Placement Position
Position: Family Resource Program Assistant
Duties: To assist with the planning and implementation of programs and activities at the Stephenville Family Resource Centre for young children from birth to six years and their parents/caregivers. Activities include Drop-in Play; Storytime and Crafts; Field Trips and Outdoor Activities; as well as assisting in maintaining a safe and clean play environment at the Family Resource Centre.
Qualifications: Must be a full-time post-secondary student returning to college or university in September 2017. Post-secondary education in Early Childhood Education or Social Sciences preferred. Experience working with children and First Aid Training would be an asset.
Duration: June 12th to July 28th, 2017 (7 weeks)
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Rate of Pay: $10.75 per hour
